human experiments in Auschwitz I
The medical crimes in Auschwitz and other concentration camps were planned and carried out by SS physicians along with I.G. Farben pharmacologists and experts on epidemic disease. Vaccines were tested on the prisoners, and the means by which epidemics were spread were investigated. The death of the test subjects was part of the planned course of the series of experiments.
